Wayzata Boys Soccer Set for State Tournament
The Wayzata boys soccer team is the defending state class AAA champion, and the Trojans could be title contenders again this fall.
Wayzata is the top seed for the class AAA tournament, which starts Tuesday.
They enter state play with a 17-0-2 record.
The Trojans face fellow Lake Conference team St. Michael-Albertville in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Edina.
Wayzata’s girls meet Lakeville North right after that game at approximately 7:30.
