The Trojans’ boys had six runners finish in the top 12 (only the top five are counted toward a team’s total score) while the Wayzata girls had five runners in the top 11 led by race champion Maddie Gullickson who won in 17 minutes, 27 seconds.
Sean Fries of Minnetonka easily won the boys race in a time of 14:50.
Thomas Berndt led Wayzata with his fourth place finish in 15:56.
The races took place on a beautiful afternoon at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, site of the Section 6AAA meet which the Trojans will run in on October 22nd.
