Wayzata Boys Basketball Rolls Past Armstrong
The top-ranked Wayzata boys basketball team beat Armstrong 95-69 Tuesday to improve to 23-1 this season.
The Trojans jumped out to a 30-9 lead before Armstrong battled back, with the Falcons closing to within ten points early in the second half.
Wayzata just kept scoring though and pulled away again on the way to the win.
Jackson McAndrew scored 27 and Isaac Olmstead 23 to lead Wayzata.
Seth Newbern had 20 and Desmond Ware 18 to lead Armstrong.
