Wayzata Boys Basketball Overpowers Armstrong
The Wayzata boys basketball team overpowered Armstrong for a 67-25 win in the Section 6AAAA semifinals.
The Trojans jumped out to a 35-12 halftime lead, with smothering defense holding the Falcons in check.
All five starters scored between seven and eleven points for Wayzata.
The Trojans are the top seed and defending section and state champion.
Wayzata hosts Minneapolis South in the section final Tuesday night.
