Wayzata Blanked by Edina in Girls Soccer
All-state forward Maddie Dahlien scored twice in the first half as Edina posted a 3-0 shutout at Wayzata Thursday in Lake Conference girls soccer.
Emma Frommelt scored the Hornets’ other goal late in the first half on a penalty kick.
The Trojans played a stronger second half after getting just one shot on goal in the first half.
Wayzata (0-1-0) lost twice to Edina (1-0-0) last season. The Trojans host Minnetonka September 3rd.
