Twin Cities Pro Am Basketball League Lets Local Stars Shine
An interesting mix of professional, college and even high school players compete in the Twin Cities Pro Am summer basketball league.
Stars who played high school ball in the northwest suburbs are on many rosters.
Former Park Center stars Quinton Hooker and Devin Buckley, current PC player Cash Chavis, former Champlin Park standout Marty Hill, former Cooper star Melvin Newbern, and Hopkins grads Ray Cowels, Siyani Chambers, and Vinnie Shahid are among the local stars competing.
It’s a chance to compete and stay in shape against some of the better recent ballplayers from the Twin Cities.
