Trio of Breck Girls Hockey Standouts Commit to D1 Programs
Aleah LaFleur, Taylor Hall, and Mackenna Schlieman all had stellar seasons for the Breck girls hockey team last year, which culminated in a Class A state championship for the Mustangs.
This summer the three soon-to-be-juniors and the rest of the Mustangs have been busy on and off the ice with offseason training. It’s also been a big summer for La Fleur, Hall, and Schlieman because all three committed to a Division 1 women’s hockey program within ten days of each other.
La Fleur announced her commitment to Boston College on June 26th.
Three days later, Schlieman decided to stay home by committing to the University of Minnesota.
A week after Schlieman’s decision, Hall also choose to stay in-state, but at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
The Mustangs went 28-1-1 last season and defeated Warroad, 4-1 in the Class A state title.
