Totino-Grace Wrestling Falls to Top Seed Watertown-Mayer at State
The Totino-Grace wrestling team had a tough draw in the state class AA team quarterfinals, facing top seed Watertown-Mayer.
The Royals started a 55-14 win with three straight pins and eventually led 31-0 before the Eagles got on the board.
Austin Herbst (145 pounds) won by technical fall for Totino-Grace, with Payton Herbst (160) winning by decision and Joe Kruse (189) winning by fall.
The Eagles then lost 52-18 to Marshall in the consolation bracket.
Individual competition begins Friday and wraps up Saturday.
