Totino-Grace Baseball Shuts Out St. Anthony in Class AAA Showdown
The Totino-Grace baseball team went on the road and shut out St. Anthony 5-0 in a match-up between two of the top teams in class AAA.
The Eagles defense and pitching shined in a game that was windy and cool from start to finish. Joey Terhaar pitched six innings, allowing just three hits, with five strikeouts.
Tommy Heifort blasted a solo home run in the first inning and earned another RBI in the fourth inning.
With the win, Totino-Grace is now 13-5 on the season.
The Eagles are still ranked first in the state in class AAA.
The Huskies, who are #5 in AAA, dropped just their second game this year.
