Top-Ranked Wayzata Volleyball Holds off Challenge from Minnetonka
The top-ranked Wayzata volleyball team was pushed hard but beat seventh-ranked Minnetonka in five sets Tuesday night.
The Trojans prevailed 23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 20-25, 15-9 to stay undefeated at 10-0.
It’s the first five set match of the season for Wayzata, and just the third time they’ve not had a sweep.
Katy Riviere and Olivia Swenson each had 16 kills for Wayzata.
The Trojans host Eden Prairie Thursday.
