Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Spinner Rigs for Walleyes
In this week’s CCX Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about the use of spinner rigs when fishing summer walleyes.
Terry suggests using two or three hooks when using a nightcrawler as bait or just a single hook for leeches.
For your spinner rig or live bait set-up, a commonly used snell length is 32 to 36 inches all the way to 72″.
Drop the rod tip to where your bait is just off the bottom of the lake.
