State Class AAA Boys Golf Round Two Highlights
Cooler weather and calm winds greeted golfers Wednesday morning for round two of the state class AAA boys tournament.
Maple Grove’s Derek Stendahl was the top finisher among golfers from the northwest suburbs.
Stendahl shot even par 144 for his two rounds to place fifth.
Bryan Terhaar of Champlin Park shot 146 to tie for seventh place.
Charlie Moen of Benilde-St. Margaret’s tied for tenth place.
Max Wolf of Hopkins and Carter Callan of Benilde tied for 19th place.
Edina won the boys team title.
The individual title was a three-way tie for Jack Wetzel of Edina, Nate Stevens of Northfield, and Owen Rexing of Rosemount.
