St. Louis Park Boys Basketball Knocks off Hopkins
The Hopkins boys basketball team lost for a third time this season, falling at home to St. Louis Park 81-68.
The Orioles got off to a fast start, leading by as many as 19 points in the first half before the Royals rallied to within four at halftime, 40-36.
Hopkins took the lead briefly early in the second half before Park came back and finished strong to score the 13-point win.
Jayden Moore was one of four Royals to finish in double digit scoring, with 19 points.
With the loss the Royals (3-3) drop from number four to number nine in the state’s Class 4A rankings.
St. Louis Park is unranked and is now 3-4 on the season.
