Section 5AAA Track Highlights; Borsch Sets State Record
The Champlin Park boys track and field team finished second, the Osseo boys fourth and the Maple Grove girls team third at Friday’s Section 5AAA championships in Forest Lake.
Jordyn Borsch of Maple Grove won three events- the 100, 200 and 400 meter races- and set a new Minnesota state record in the 400 with a time of 53.47 seconds.
Richlu Tudee of Champlin Park was a double winner, taking gold in both the 100 and 200 meters.
The Mounds View boys and Roseville girls won the team titles.
The state track and field meet is next weekend at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
