Robbinsdale High School Great Dennis Claridge Dies at 76
Robbinsdale High School has lost one of the best athletes from their proud history. Dennis Claridge has passed away at age 76 following a three-year battle with cancer. Claridge graduated from RHS in 1959 having lettered in football, basketball and track.
Claridge was a quarterback at the University of Nebraska, leading the Cornhuskers two two conference championships and two bowl victories. He later played in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons before settling in Lincoln Nebraska where he had his own orthodontic practice for over three decades. Claridge was part of the inaugural class of the RHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.
