Providence Academy Football Falls 37-35 to Mound
The Providence Academy football team lost a wild one in their last outing, falling 37-35 to Mound-Westonka.
The Lions jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and led 21-7 in the second quarter before the White Hawks rallied.
Providence quarterback Magnus Hansen threw for 338 yards and five touchdowns. Wide Receiver Max Klassen caught nine passes for 197 yards and four touchdowns.
Mound-Westonka running back Ray Beiningen rushed for 247 yards and five touchdowns in the win.
The White Hawks improved to 4-0 on the season with the win. The Lions are now 1-3.
