Prep Football Training Camp Report: Breck Mustangs

The Breck football team is aiming for a repeat trip to the state tournament this season but the Mustangs have a young squad and a new head coach.

Marcus Harris, a Mustangs’ assistant coach since 2008, takes over as the head coach.

Senior captain Waziri Lawal will be the starting quarterback. Lawal played receiver last year and will also play free safety.

Other key returners for Breck include linemen Ben Averbook and Dylan Luebke and wide receiver Will Walker.

The Mustangs open the season at Academy Force on September 1st.
