Prep Football Practices Kick Off for 2021 Season
After a late-starting and early-ending high school football season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, local teams including Maple Grove kicked off practice sessions Monday.
The hope is to have a normal, or close to normal, schedule this fall despite concern about rising virus numbers again.
Maple Grove has 93 players out for varsity football, the highest number in several seasons.
Maple Grove opens the season September 2nd against Osseo in a game you can see live on CCX Sports.
