Park Center’s Braeden Carrington Wins Mr. Basketball
Three days after helping Park Center to its first state boys basketball title, Pirates’ senior Braeden Carrington was named Minnesota’s Mr. Basketball.
Carrington received the award in a ceremony at Park Center.
The Mr. Basketball award is presented annually to the top senior player in the state.
Carrington is the second Park Center player to win the award, joining Quinton Hooker in 2013.
He is also the third Pirates’ athlete in the past year to win similar awards in their sport.
Carrington has signed to play for the University of Minnesota next season.
