Park Center’s Athena Award Winner: Lauren Frost
The 48th annual Athena Awards luncheon was scheduled to take place on May 8th. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was canceled.
We at CCX sports are recognizing these remarkable seniors from the Class of 2020 and telling their stories.
Today we recognize Lauren Frost from Park Center High School.
Lauren lettered for three years in soccer and five years in basketball.
She helped the Pirates’ girls basketball team to the state Class AAAA tournament in March.
Frost earned all-state honorable mention and academic all-state honors this season.
She surpassed 1,000 career points.
Lauren maintained a 3.8 GPA through high school.
She accepted a basketball scholarship to Nebraska-Omaha, where she will study engineering.
