Park Center Softball Getting Set for Season
The Park Center softball team is getting set for the 2022 with a lot of new faces in the group.
The numbers have rebounded after the COVID-19 pandemic meant a big drop in participation.
The Pirates were only able to field one level of play (varsity) last season.
They will have multiple levels this season as a lot of young players give softball a try.
Captains Makenna Dugas (pitcher/shortstop), Esi Adamaley (2nd baseman/shortstop), and Lola Lallas (pitcher/3rd baseman) lead the returners.
Slugging sophomore catcher/ 3rd baseman Brooke Doebler will also be a key player.
Some of the Pirates took a team trip to Florida this week to prepare for the season.
Park Center is scheduled to open the season Tuesday April 5th at Elk River if weather permits.
