Park Center Girls Basketball Beats Rogers
The Park Center girls basketball team used a 13-0 scoring run in the second half to beat Rogers 66-54.
The Pirates trailed 41-38 when their defense forced turnovers which led to transition baskets as part of the run.
Park Center’s Adalia McKenzie led all scorers with 28 points, about two points above her season average.
Vanessa Saidu contributed 10 points and six blocked shots and Shadaizhalynn Chatman scored 11 points.
Ellie Buzzelle and Clara Glad each scored 16 points for the Royals (1-5).
The Pirates (4-3) host Spring Lake Park on Tuesday.
