Park Center Boys Basketball Primed for Big Season
The Park Center boys basketball team is primed for a big season.
The Pirates were 30-2 last season and finished third in class AAAA.
Though they lost three key guards from that team to graduation, they should be a very strong team this winter.
6’10” Baylor signee Dain Dainja is one of the state’s top big men.
Detavius Frierson is a strong, athletic force at forward.
David Ijadimbola and Josh Brown return as key perimeter players.
6’9″ newcomer John Grigsby, a transfer from Colorado, will help as well.
The Pirates already own a win over defending state champion Hopkins this season.
After facing St. Louis Park Thursday night, the Pirates play East Ridge at the Breakdown Tipoff Classic Saturday.
