Park Center Boys Basketball Overwhelms Mounds View
The Park Center boys basketball team jumped on Mounds View right from the start of their Section 5AAAA semifinal Tuesday.
The Pirates, defending state champions in class AAAA, rolled to a 73-35 win over the Mustangs.
After struggling in their quarterfinal win over Spring Lake Park, Park Center was sharp from the start.
The Pirates jumped out to a 12-0 lead and were up 41-18 at halftime.
CJ O’Hara scored 24 points and JJ Ware 17 to lead the Pirates.
Park Center now meets archrival Osseo for the Section 5AAAA title Friday night at Rogers High School.
