Park Center Boys Basketball Holds off Mounds View
The top-ranked Park Center boys basketball team was challenged but held off Mounds View in the Section 5AAAA semifinals.
The Pirates pulled away late for a 76-62 win after leading by just one at halftime.
Park Center improved to 27-1 with the victory.
Braeden Carrington scored 26 to lead the Pirates.
Leo Torbor and Ayouba Berthe each added 15 for Park Center.
The top-seeded Pirates now face second seed Osseo for the section title Thursday night at Rogers High School.
