Park Center Boys Basketball Beats Minneapolis North
The Park Center boys basketball team scored a big win over Minneapolis North in a matchup of top-ranked teams.
The Pirates won 67-55 in the championship game of the George Floyd Memorial Classic.
Park Center is ranked first in class AAAA, while North is number one in class AA.
Park Center pulled away after leading by one at halftime.
The Pirates’ Braeden Carrington, a University of Minnesota recruit, scored 35 points to key the win.
Park Center improved to 7-0 this season.
