Park Center Boys Basketball Back on Court
The Park Center boys basketball team is back in the gym for summer workouts.
The Pirates and other local teams haven’t been able to do much for the past three months because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Park Center missed out on a chance to qualify for a second straight state tournament when the season was shut down on the day the Pirates were going to face Spring Lake Park in the Section 5AAAA championship game in March.
After working on mostly solo drills to start, restrictions for summer workouts have loosened to allow for scrimmages and more game-like workouts.
The Park Center boys are generally working out three evenings per week. Many Pirates are also getting their AAU seasons started.
