Park Center Boys Basketball Aims High This Season
The Park Center boys basketball team is aiming high this season.
A deep, experienced team is expected to be one of the state’s best squads.
Division I recruits Braeden Carrington (Minnesota) and Leo Torbor (San Jose State) are just a couple of the top players.
The Pirates are rated second in the state class AAAA pre-season poll.
They open the season Tuesday at Edina, then host DeLaSalle Thursday. The Islanders are ranked second in class AAA.
Saturday Park Center plays top-ranked and defending state champion Wayzata in the Breakdown TipOff Classic.
