Osseo Wrestling Falls to Power STMA
The Osseo wrestling team figures to have a strong season, but the Orioles ran into an elite team when they faced St. Michael-Albertville.
The Knights jumped out to leads of 30-0 and 54-3 on the way to a 60-21 win over Osseo.
STMA is ranked third in Class AAA, while Osseo is in the “lean and mean” category, receiving votes but just outside the top twelve.
The Knights are loaded with highly ranked wrestlers in the lower weights and they came through with six pins in the early going.
Aidan Wayne, Jacob Meissner and Jagger Schack all won by fall for Osseo in the upper weights.
