Osseo Softball Eager to Get Season Started
The Osseo softball team is ready to go for the 2023 season.
A team trip to Florida in late March helped the Orioles sharpen their skills on outdoor fields and also to bond as a team.
A new twist this season: though it’s not a full co-op program, Park Center players will be part of Osseo’s program at the varsity and JV levels this spring and next.
Standout Brooke Doebler is one of the Park Center players that will be a big contributor.
Captains Tessa Strand (outfielder), Lindsey Varney (outfielder), Natalie Molnau (2nd base) and Julia Wasgatt (catcher) will lead the way for the Orioles under second year head coach Tarek Morey.
While many teams can’t get on their game fields yet, the fact that Osseo has an artificial turf field has the Orioles optimistic that they can get scheduled home games in Tuesday and Thursday of the coming week.
