Osseo Legion Baseball Loses to West Fargo in Central Plains Tourney
The Osseo American Legion baseball team lost its opening game at the Central Plains Regional tournament Wednesday, falling 6-4 to West Fargo, North Dakota.
The Orioles scored a single run in the fourth inning on an RBI double by Matthew Kitzman.
John Klein scored on a fielder’s choice in the fifth inning with Brady Quan and Noah Thompson later scoring on a West Fargo throwing error.
But West Fargo scored four runs in the fifth inning and two more in the sixth inning to rally for the win.
Casey Clemenson pitched a complete game for West Fargo, striking out four.
Osseo now plays in the loser’s bracket of the double elimination tournament Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
