Osseo Legion Baseball Eliminated from Central Plains Regional
The Osseo American Legion baseball team was eliminated from the Central Plains Regional Tournament Thursday, losing 6-5 to De Pere, Wisconsin.
After falling behind 3-0, Osseo rallied to score five runs in the bottom of the third inning on run-scoring hits by Matt Holien, Jake Contreras, Matthew Kitzman, and Wyatt Doubler.
But De Pere scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to take the lead for good.
Osseo, which lost 6-4 to West Fargo, North Dakota on Wednesday in the first round of the tourney, finishes the summer with a 25-9 record.
