Osseo Boys Basketball Off to Strong Start
The Osseo boys basketball team is off to a strong start early this season.
The Orioles enter Thursday night with a 2-0 record, with wins over Edina and Centennial.
It’s a veteran team with eight seniors leading the way.
The backcourt duo of Tyirece Waits and Benard Omooria sets the tone for the team.
The Orioles did lose University of Minnesota recruit Josh Ola-Joseph to a prep school.
That lowered outside expectations for this Osseo team, but the players and coaches in the program still expect big things.
After facing Blaine Thursday, the Orioles get a big test Saturday against Hopkins.
