Osseo Boys Basketball Loses to Rogers
The Osseo boys basketball team lost 68-55 to Rogers in Northwest Suburban Conference play Monday night in Osseo.
The Orioles grabbed an early 7-2 before Rogers got going offensively.
Zach Bachmeier’s three-pointer at the buzzer ended the first half in style for Rogers, giving the Royals a 32-26 lead at the half.
After Rogers built a double digit lead, Osseo fought back to within five with about two and a half minutes left, but that’s as close as they got.
Treyvon Mix had 26 points to lead Rogers, with Bachmeier adding 18.
Quincy Johnson scored 12 points and Joel Strand 10 for Osseo.
Osseo fell to 6-13 overall and 3-6 in NWSC games.
Rogers is 8-12 and 5-7 in league play.
