Osseo Boys Basketball Loses to East Ridge at Breakdown
The Osseo boys basketball team lost its season opener Saturday, falling 59-52 to East Ridge in the Breakdown Sports Tip-Off Classic event at Hopkins High School.
Trey Smith scored 20 points and De’Mari Larkins added 15 for the Orioles.
Cedric Tomes led East Ridge in scoring with 18 points and Alex Mattes netted 15.
The Orioles (0-1) host Andover Tuesday in their Northwest Suburban Conference opener.
