Osseo Boys Basketball Banking on Experience
A veteran Osseo boys basketball team is off to a solid start this season.
The Orioles enter Tuesday night with a 3-1 record.
They return four starters from a team that gave Park Center a good battle before falling in the Section 5AAAA final last season.
Point guard and top scorer De’Mari Larkins leads the way at 21.8 points per game so far this season for Osseo.
Guards Ty Swanson (14.2 ppg) and Temi Denado (9.2) and post player Aaron Smith (10.2) are other returning starters.
Jaymeson Travis is off to a strong start at 16.2 ppg as well.
Osseo faces Armstrong Tuesday night.
Next week, they’ll compete at the TCO Holiday Classic at Augsburg.
Hopkins and Breck are among the opponents for the Orioles at that tournament.
