Osseo Baseball Aims High This Spring

The Osseo baseball team is aiming high in the 2022 season this spring.

The Orioles didn’t fare that well in the high school season in 2021 but they did win the state American Legion tournament in the summer.

Several players from that team are back for this high school season.

Among the key returners: pitcher/1st baseman Matthew Kitzman, outfielder Brady Quan, pitcher/outfielder Sam Wolkerstorfer, shortstop/pitcher Spencer Pederson, and 3rd baseman Tyler Rose.

The Orioles faced one of Wisconsin’s top pitchers and lost their season opener 8-4 to River Falls early this week.

They pushed their home opener against Champlin Park from Thursday to Friday due to weather concerns.
