Northwest Suburban Conference Track and Field Highlights
The Northwest Suburban Conference track and field finals featured some outstanding performances from athletes in the CCX viewing area.
Among the many highlights for local athletes:
Laubenra Ben of Park Center won the 100 meters and triple jump and was second in the 4oo; Jordyn Borsch of Maple Grove won the 200 and 400 meters; Adyson Kopitzke of Champlin Park won the shot put and discus; and Lex Davis of Osseo won the 800 and 1600 meters.
On the boys side, Richlu Tudee of Champlin Park won the 100 and 200 meters; Noah Breker of Armstrong won the 1600 and 3200; and Peyton Newbern of Armstrong won the high jump and was second in the long jump.
Blaine won the boys team title. Armstrong was third, Champlin Park fourth, and Maple Grove fifth.
Spring Lake Park won the girls team title. Top local teams were Maple Grove in fourth, Osseo in fifth, and Champlin Park sixth.
