Northwest Suburban Conference Girls Nordic Ski Highlights
Frigid temperatures Monday delayed the start and forced shorter races at the Northwest Suburban Conference Nordic ski championship meet in Bloomington.
Savannah Krull of Maple Grove placed second behind champion Hailee Zimpel of Elk River/Zimmerman in the girls pursuit.
Selah Binsfield (6th) of Park Center and Abby Hibbs (7th) and Rachel Miller (8th) of Champlin Park also cracked the top ten.
Champlin Park placed second and Maple Grove third behind girls team champion Elk River/Zimmerman.
Blaine won the boys team title with Champlin Park second and Armstrong third.
