Maple Grove’s Isaac Collins Returns to Minnesota
2016 Maple Grove High School graduate Isaac Collins is in his fourth season of minor league baseball. But up until last week, he had never played in Minnesota.
Collins was recently promoted to the Nashville Sounds, the Class AAA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
He made his first start for the Sounds against the Saints in St. Paul. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2019, Collins was acquired by the Brewers in the off-season.
He started the year at Class AA Biloxi until his promotion last week to Nashville.
Collins was an all-state baseball and football player during his prep career at Maple Grove.
