Maple Grove Volleyball Still Rolling
In this COVID-19 shortened season, Maple Grove has one of its best volleyball teams ever.
The Crimson enters Tuesday night’s match against Spring Lake Park with an 8-0 record.
They had a much-anticipated rematch with Champlin Park last week postponed due to a possible COVID exposure.
That match has been rescheduled for November 25.
The Crimson beat Champlin Park in the first match of the season.
Barring a late change, there won’t be a state tournament to aim for this season because of the virus.
Maple Grove will face some very tough competition in Section 5AAA, including top-ranked and defending state champ Wayzata.
