Maple Grove Volleyball Ready for Section Final Challenge
For the first time since 2007, the Maple Grove volleyball team is playing in a section final.
The Crimson (21-10) advanced to the championship match with a sweep of four-time defending section and state champion Wayzata.
Now the Crimson meet top-seeded Champlin Park (27-3), a team that beat Maple Grove in three sets in September.
The Crimson believe their team has improved greatly in the five weeks since that match and are excited for the chance to play the Rebels again.
