Maple Grove Volleyball Looks to Stay at High Level
The Maple Grove volleyball team is looking to stay at a high level this season.
The Crimson enjoyed one of the best seasons in program history last fall during the COVID-19 shortened season.
They were 12-1 and won the Northwest Suburban Conference title.
Eight seniors graduated from that team, so it’s a mostly new group on the varsity court this fall.
The Crimson lost their opener to top-ranked Wayzata, but beat Eastview and St. Michael-Albertville in competitive matches.
Maple Grove opens conference play Thursday against Centennial before competing at the Southwest Minnesota Challenge tournament.
