Maple Grove Softball Edges Centennial
The Maple Grove softball team scored a key win Wednesday, edging Centennial 3-2 to stay undefeated.
It was a pitcher’s duel for much of the game, with Centennial leading 1-0 into the sixth inning.
Ava Dueck, Maple Grove’s pitcher, hit a hard grounder that was mishandled to score a run to make it 1-1.
The Crimson scored two runs on wild pitches in the inning as they took the lead for good.
They are now 5-0 this season.
