Maple Grove Girls Tennis Advances to State Semifinals
The Maple Grove girls tennis team advanced to the Class AA State Semifinals with a close 4-3 win over Elk River at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.
The Crimson received a win in singles from Summer Ode and wins in doubles from Char Bakke and Amelia Larsen, Peyton Weigelt and Lexi Helmer-Jahnke, along with Livia Walseth and Addison Doherty.
Maple Grove will face top-seeded Rochester Mayo on Wednesday at 8:00 AM at the BTC, with the winner advancing to the Class AA State Championship.
