Maple Grove Girls Hockey Shut Out by Hill-Murray
Emily Pohl scored five goals as the Hill-Murray girls hockey team shut out Maple Grove 6-0 in the Crimson’s regular season finale.
Pohl, the sophomore daughter of Pioneers coaches John and Krissy (Wendell) Pohl, scored the first goal of the game less than five minutes into the first period. Her final two goals of the game came on the powerplay and gives her 29 goals on the season.
The Crimson (15-7-3) open play in the Section 5AA tournament Saturday in Roseville.
