Maple Grove Girls 1st, Boys 2nd at Osseo CC Invitational
The Maple Grove girls cross country team won the Osseo Cross Country Invitational Meet Thursday while the Crimson boys finished second as a team in their race.
Maple Grove’s girls placed five runners in the top 20 including Jordan Ode (2nd) and Lindsey Young (6th). Armstrong’s Caitlyn Osanai won the girls’ 5K in a time of 19:30.2.
Osseo’s team finished 3rd with sisters Jules and Lex Davis both placing in the top seven.
In the boys’ meet the Maple Grove boys placed three runners in the top 20 including Gannon Farrens (7th). Cade Sanvik of Osseo was the top local runner, finishing in fifth place.
