Maple Grove FCA Basketball Camp a Hit
The Maple Grove Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) youth basketball camp proved to be a hit.
Spots in last week’s camp filled up in just six minutes after online registration went live in March.
180 kids filled the courts at Maple Grove Middle School.
It’s a special week for the first family of Maple Grove basketball, the Davisons.
Mom Cori is basketball director at the camp, and her daughters Stephanie Fort and Angie Tusler, former Maple Grove High School and Northern Iowa players, and son Brad, a Maple Grove and Wisconsin player who now coaches at Wisconsin, are longtime coaches at the camp.
Father Jim also coached at the camp this summer after retiring.
With the Davison kids and their families now spread out in Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin, it’s a family reunion week centered around basketball.
