Maple Grove Eliminated by St. Michael in Legion Tournament
The Maple Grove Legion baseball team was eliminated by the St. Michael Mikes 13-2 in five innings at the Sub-State 11 tournament.
St. Michael scored four runs in the second inning to take control.
Maple Grove responded with two runs in the top of the third to pull within 4-2.
The Mikes blew it open with eight runs in the bottom of the third on the way to the win.
They finished second in the tournament.
