Maple Grove Boys Second at Section 5AA Cross Country
The Maple Grove boys cross country team placed second to Mounds View at the Section 5AA meet Thursday.
The race was run in four different pods to comply with COVID-19 related health guidelines.
Maple Grove 8th grader Gannon Farrens finished second individually behind winner Elliott McArthur of Mounds View.
Osseo freshman Cade Sannvik placed fourth.
There will be no state meet this season because of the pandemic, meaning section races wrap up the season.
